Commission Art Work for Private Residence
This festive installation is crafted using leftover yarns saved from many of textile artist Ploenchan Vinyaratn’s previous design projects. Layered in vibrant tiers and inspired by roi malai, the tradition of Thai garland weaving, the tree gathers these remnants into a sculptural form that celebrates abundance, gratitude ,and renewal.
Unlike natural evergreens that wither or artificial ones that often degrade to microplastics, this tree enters a different kind of cycle. Its materials have lived other lives before this moment, and its future form remains open. The piece reflects Vinyaratn’s belief that materials carry their own histories and possibilities, and that beauty can emerge from what is continually reimagined.

Rise Up
Technique : Handwoven mixed media
Size : W 200 x H 120 cm
At daybreak a new day starts with a beautiful sight, as the sun appears to rise high into the sky, driving away the enveloping darkness. In that moment possibilities are endless for moving forward and achieving success in anything we set our minds on. In savouring this spectacle of the endless cycle, we take a moment to remember that the sun stays where it is, giving warmth and life where it is needed, and we are the ones turning away each evening, but it may appear to take leave, each morning it never fails to return. The material used in creating this art piece were thrown away, but through the application of imagination and love, brought back to life in this new form, rising higher up in the cycle of earthly existence

In a reimagined urban landscape, the vibrant energy of Manila collides with the enchanting bustle of Bangkok, like two souls embarked on a remarkable journey.
Their story becomes a labor of love, manifested through a remarkable art piece—a cartographic melding of Manila and Bangkok. The colorful threads and textures blend seamlessly, embodying the unity that love and understanding bring to this extraordinary union.
Through this artwork, we celebrate the beauty of cultural diversity and the transformative power of love. It is a couple’s journey, where differences are embraced, and traditions shared with respect and admiration. Chiaroscuro Rhythms, 2023
Technique : Handwoven mixed media
Size : W 190 x H 130 cm
This woven art piece by artist Ploenchan Vinyaratn captures the dynamic interplay between light and dark, resilience and adversity, and the continuous cycle of challenges and victories depicted in the artwork. This woven art narrative portrays the emotions of life through undulating waves, where threads convey resilience, hope, and the importance of perseverance. When interwoven together, these waves serve as a powerful reminder of life’s ongoing cycle of challenges and victories, representing both its high points and low points. The vibrant waves, full of vitality, flow gracefully across the fabric.
The name of this artwork draws inspiration from the artistic technique of chiaroscuro, which is known for its contrast between light and dark. In this textile art piece, the reflective peaks of the woven waves symbolize the light, while the challenges and setbacks symbolize darker periods. These contrasting elements create a rhythmic composition that mirrors the ceaseless ups and downs of life.
The artwork also portrays the inner flame that ignites when we refuse to give up, represented through vibrant colors. No matter how many times life knocks us down, there is always an opportunity to rise again. Each setback is presented as a chance for reinvention and uncovering of opportunities through unwavering determination.
